What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), booking information, and — for verification — your driving licence and national ID/passport. Rental companies provide business and vehicle details.
How your documents are protected
ID and driving licence documents are stored privately, never on public URLs. Access is restricted by role to the rental company handling your booking and Apex administrators, and every document view is recorded in an audit log. Sensitive numbers are masked where the full value is not needed, and documents are never attached to emails.
Why we keep booking records
Booking and verification records are retained to support fraud prevention, disputes, chargebacks and, where lawfully required, police reports. They can be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed under our retention policy.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We use your data only to operate the marketplace and keep rentals safe — never sold to third parties.
